New York Bird Club
Founded in 2003,
the New York Bird Club is an award-winning
progressive club
dedicated to supporting efforts to preserve avians living in the wild.
We seek to increase public awareness regarding the hardships endured
by captive birds, an unnatural condition for them to be in, and hope
to improve their quality of life through proper care and guidance. We have been featured
in the New York Daily News, New York Post, New York Resident, Education
Update, Pop in New York, News 12 CT (Pet Talk), Staten Island Cable
TV (Alexandra's Psychic Eye), All Pets Radio, The New York Observer and New York 1; with featured articles
in The New York Times, Time Out NY, Bird Talk Magazine, New York Tails, the Village Voice
and others.
